Lady Questers

To "quest" is defined as: a search or pursuit made in order to find or obtain something. Lady Questers are women seeking to know God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in a deep and meaningful way through Bible study, close association with one another, prayer and service to others.

On the first Saturday of each month, Lady Questers meet at 1:00 pm. We meet at homes or at the building. Sometimes we study; sometimes we endeavor to serve others by various service projects; or sometimes simply to go out to visit others in their homes.

All ages of women are invited to join – teens, young adults, single women, married women, senior women. This is how we can learn from one another and show the love of Christ not only to each other, but to our community.

Wednesday night Ladies' Bible Class

Each Wednesday night during the Spring Quarter (March, April and May) at 7:00 pm we have a "hump-day" class for women - an encouraging and uplifting class at mid-week. And though we are committed to having a class every Spring Quarter, there may be other quarters that class is held – so watch for announcements!

This class is led by various women on subjects that pertain to women in their walk with Christ. Past studies have been: "Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God" by Henry & Richard Blackaby led by Cindy Isbell, "Living Beyond Yourself: Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit" by Beth Moore led by Kelly Martin, "Fearless: Imagine Your Life Without Fear" by Max Lucado led by April Helmke & Cindy Isbell and "Battlefield of the Mind: Winning the Battle in Your Mind" by Joyce Meyer led by Shannon Rucker.

Starting March 4, 2015 and running through May 27, 2015, the study will be "Improving Your Serve: The Act of Unselfish Living" by Charles R. Swindoll led by Cindy Isbell. In this classic volume, Charles Swindoll uniquely shows the important aspects of authentic servant hood, such as:

• What it takes to serve unselfishly
• Why a servant has such a powerful influence
• What challenges and rewards a servant can expect

He offers clear guidelines on developing a servant's heart and challenges you to realize the rich rewards promised in a life of authentic Christian servant hood.

vbsEach summer, in the month of June, more than half of our church family work together to create a Bible time marketplace for the children of our church and our community. Every year we "visit" a different location from Bible times to learn stories from the Bible about God and His love for us, His people. We have been to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Galilee, Athens, Egypt, the Wilderness and more.

The children are divided into twelve tribes or families. They travel with their tribe to learn through drama, singing, storytelling and crafts all centering on the Holy land theme. A large marketplace is constructed on the back of the church property. Children are "dressed up" in Bible time's costume and travel through the marketplace and different learning centers interacting with various church members dressed up and in character, making the Bible stories come to life. If you would like to join our Holy land adventure this year, please contact Jenny or Bryan Plumlee, Kari or Mike Priborsky, Kim Owsley or Sarah Blagg,
